Bridge From ETH To FTM

If you are trying to bridge ERC20 coins to Fantom your main option is https://multichain.xyz made by @AndreCronjeTech.

To see the list of coins you can bridge to Fantom, go to https://multichain.xyz/tokens and sort by Destination chain and look for the coins that have the FTM symbol on destination. For more information on using the bridge, refer to the next page for guides by @Crezor7.

ERC20 coins have no fee to transfer to Fantom (other than gas costs) but do have a fee to transfer back to Ethereum. Bridging any tokens other than FTM from ETH Mainnet to Fantom Opera is free! Some tokens that can be bridged are:

NOTE: Do not bridge Native Ethereum, you need to wrap your Ethereum on a service such as Uniswap first into wETH before bridging.

How to use Multichain

In this example, we'll try to bridge over USDC on Eth to Fantom 1. Go to https://multichain.xyz 2. Connect your wallet, only MetaMask is supported by Multichain at this point 3. Switch to Ethereum Network. 4. Click on token to bridge from. Click on the first token icon to choose the token you want to bridge

5. Choose token. When the pop-up of a list of tokens opens, click on the wallet next to the search button.

You will see many options with the same logos and numbers. Choose the option that, when selected, changes the smaller icon in the "To" tokens window into the FTM symbol.

The only way to know is to test. Usually the first option gives you ETH to BSC, and the second clone should be the one that bridges the token to FTM. (But for this example's sake we'll go the convoluted route.)

6. Test to see if the "To" field is autofilled with the FTM logo. The "To" token field will automatically occupy with another network once a token path from the "From" field is selected. In this case, it auto-filled into USDC, Binance Smart Chain, shown by the small bottom right icon in "To". That's not what we want. So go back to the selection screen by clicking on the first token again.

7. This time, choose the other identical option down the list.

8. Make sure that the second "To" token is auto-filled in to have a Fantom logo.

9. Select amount. You can click on the top right amount if you want to max out the bridging amount

10. Click transfer, your wallet should react to confirm the action.

Bridging for other chains

More information coming soon! However, bridging to Ethereum first will always work as a stopgap.
